TOWN OF WILLINGTON
MINUTES
SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
May 19, 2010
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
First Selectman, Christina Mailhos read the call of the meeting and asked for nominations for a
Moderator. Tyler Millix made a motion to appoint Christina Mailhos as moderator and was seconded
by Ralph Tulis
Motion carried.
Item I.
To see if the townspeople, on the recommendation of the Board of Finance, will authorize the appropriation of $42,776 from the American Reinvestment & Recovery Act Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant for the purpose as specified in the Grant application.
A motion was made by Ralph Tulis and seconded by Tyler Millix to approve
Item I.
Discussion followed. Tyler Millix asked if we would need a large sign put up, Christina Mailhos is going to check into this and if a sign is required we will get a permit and put one up. Christina Mailhos also wanted to thank the EAC and Robin Campbell for their help in completing the grant application.
Motion carried.
A motion was made by Ralph Tulis and seconded by Tyler Millix to adjourn the meeting at 7:15 P.M. .
